Fun Facts for Cell Block Tango (CBT):

  • Originally we were going to do the regular CBT lyrics. My siblings, however, pushed for me to write original lyrics. It took me about an hour to come up with all of the characters’ stories.
  • Brittany’s part was all improv done by my brother. I had originally written lyrics for Brittany’s part, but he thought it would be funnier to speak in the “unicorn language”. He was right.
  • It took me hours to get Santana’s singing part done. Broadway songs are a challenge for me.
  • My sister had trouble saying “an Asian”. 
  • It was fun recording this one! It’s the song we were most excited about doing.
